Our staff includes many former Hampshire students and team members.
We are very happy to announce that our daughter Talya, will be joining the staff at Hampshire Gymnastics and will be coaching the team along with Elizabeth. In addition to her career as a national elite level competitor and a member of the USA team to the Maccabiah Games, Talya was a three time All-American gymnast at the University of Georgia and a member of the 1999 NCAA National Championship Team. For the past 4 years, she was the assistant coach at the University of Iowa, where she was voted the NCAA Regional assistant coach of the year in 2008. Talya has also been a featured clinician at many national events. She is getting married in May and will be moving back to Amherst to begin work at Hampshire Gymnastics. We are thrilled that Talya has decided to come home and continue the Vexler tradition of coaching and teaching young children. We know that your child will greatly benefit from Talya’s expertise as a top national gymnast and her experience as a coach.
